Olivia George, OPC Foundation Irene Corbally Kuhn winner in 2022, was named Outstanding New Journalist by the Society of Professional Journalists at its annual Sunshine State Awards presented in a ceremony at the Hollywood Central Performing Arts Cente in Hollywood, FL, on Aug. 17, 2024. 

George covers local government at the Tampa Bay Times, a job she started shortly after graduating from Brown in 2022.
