Michael Wakin, the Fritz Beebe Scholar Award winner in 2024 is currently working towards his PhD in International Relations at St. Antony’s College, Oxford. He is a Senior Editor for Global Politics at the Oxford Political Review; also working as an editorial assistant at Perspectives on Politics, an academic journal. Here is a recent piece Wakin had published in the Oxford Political Review. It is an interview I did with Richard Haass, who is the president emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Wakin recently completed his OPC Foundation fellowship at the Associated Press Dubai bureau.
