The OPC Foundation’s Bill Holstein and the former Scholar Award Winners Portia Crowe and Stephen Kalin joined the Michigan State students on a Zoom call to talk about topics about becoming and working as an international correspondent. Bill Holstein moderated the panel discussion covering questions such as

-how does one become a foreign correspondent

-what are the hardest issues to confront as a journalist

Lastly Holstein gave some tips on what the OPC Foundation judges are finding appealing on the winning applications.
