Trisha Mukherjee wins a contest by Nicholas Kristof from the New York Times

Trisha Mukherjee has been selected as the winner of the New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof’s 2024 win-a-trip contest. The award with a history of almost 20 years manifests Kristof’s effort to promote global issues and encourage journalism students to travel the world as much as they can. Trisha will be traveling and reporting internationally with Nick for about 2 weeks later this year.

Trisha won an OPC Foundation Scholar Award earlier this year. Audrey Thibert who is also an OPC Foundation Scholar Award winner in 2024 as well as a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow is the runner up in Kristof’s contest.
