Two former OPC Foundation Scholars were among the winners of the recently announced Society of Professional Journalism Best in Business Awards for 2024. Alex Saeedy, the first OPC Foundation Fritz Beebe winner in 2015, won the Banking/Finance large division award for an article he wrote for the Wall Street Journal entitled, “Overworked: How Wall Street Pushes Young Bankers to the Edge.” Jacob Adelman, OPC Foundation HL Stevenson awardee in 2005, won the Investing/Markets medium division for the article “Investing Annuities” for Barron’s.
